Precipitation

This graph summarizes the characteristic sizes of objects which occur in clouds. These objects are called "hydrometeors". They include cloud and fog droplets, raindrops, ice crystals and snow crystals as well as graupel and hail stones.

For comparison also the sizes of a polio virus and particles from cigarette smoke are displayed.
